Although you cannot tell based on the soaring temperatures and humidity the Fall season is fast approaching!  Before long the heat & humidity will give way to cooler more pleasant days, which makes for perfect portrait weather!

I was honored to photograph Amy & Karl’s wedding a couple of months ago at the Hotel Galvez in Galveston.  The Galvez ranks pretty high in terms of my favorite venues in the area! Amy had planned an outdoor ceremony but the days leading up the wedding had been pretty rainy and everyone was doubtful that the outdoor ceremony would continue as planned.  However just as everyone began to go through with Plan #B, the sun peeked through the clouds long enough to allow Amy & Karl to have their garden ceremony!
